Job Description:

Apollo After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We are looking for an outgoing, personable, and organized Receptionist for our school-based program in the area. If this sounds like you, then continue reading!

As an Apollo Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

* Greeting students and parents with a positive and engaging attitude.

* In charge of student dismissal and making sure this runs efficiently.

* Managing access to the building for authorized personnel only.

* Contacting students to confirm pick up.

* Providing a safe and secure school environment.

* Actively responding to incidents that threaten school security.

* Report unusual activity that might become a safety issue in a timely manner.

* Actively communicating with Apollo staff members in the location.

Requirements:

High School Diploma. .
Technological proficiency..
A team player who can collaborate with peers.
Previous experience in security and in childcare (6 months minimum for each).
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff members, and the public in general.
Problem-solving skills to identify issues and create action plans related to the security and dismissal of students
